CQXT cable connections at the back of the TouchScreen Follow

There are 3 connectors on the back of the ColorQuest XT TouchScreen:

1. The male cable end of the curly, CQXT black RS232 serial cable should connect to the regular female Sensor connector at the bottom corner of the instrument where the power cable goes in, and the female cable end plugged into the “Sensor” male connector on the back of the TouchScreen display. This cable feeds power and communications from the ColorQuest XT sensor to the TouchScreen display.
2. For printing measurement data, the male serial cable end from the serial Printer should be plugged into to the PRN female connector on the back of the CQXT TouchScreen display.
3. The Applet Manager for loading program applets from a PC into the CQXT TouchScreen requires a standard serial cable with the female cable end plugged into the male serial connector on the PC, and the male cable end plugged into the female “Host” connector on the back of the TouchScreen display.
