Why does ColorFlex EZ Tomato or Citrus flash 3 times in EasyMatch QC? Follow

FAQ: "We noticed that ColorFlex EZ flashes 3 times per measurement when connected to EasyMatch QC. Do you have any comments on why this might occur?"

When ColorFlex EZ is being used with EasyMatch QC and Tomato  or Citrus metrics, the EasyMatch application will prompt for three (3) readings from the ColorFlex EZ and display the average as the measurement.

This is part of CMR implementation.  Translucent, light trapping orange juice and processed tomato products will benefit from the average of multiple readings and result in a more repeatable measurement.
