It is exactly as you have it – “Dorigon”, although I seen it in caps – DORIGON. There are a couple of versions, I and II, but all the same basic sensor originally built by HunterLab.

It is the name of a legacy instrument built in conformance with ASTM E430 that could measure specular gloss at 30 degrees but was primarily intended to measure reflected scattering as DOI – distinctness of reflected image/orange peel; 2⁰ and 5⁰ reflected haze on mirror-like surfaces, along with 15⁰ diffuseness for surfaces like brushed aluminum.
