D25 LT Product Discontinuation

HunterLab is announcing the discontinuation of our D25 LT Colorimeter measurement systems.

The D25 LT has had a successful run of over 8 years.  The D25 LT has unique measuring capabilities for large non-homogenous bulk samples which supports an important segment of our market.  Recognizing this and in an effort to continue to improve our ability to measure these types of samples, HunterLab has extended our capabilities with the development of the D25 NC System, which will replace the D25 LT. 

Effectivity: The discontinuation is effective on August 1, 2014. We will work with individual sales representatives and distributors to address specific customer needs during this period. Any open sales quotations at the time of this notice will be handled on a case by case basis.

Transition:  Some customers may require support in moving from the D25 LT platform to the D25 NC platform.  We will assist those customers in that transition, when necessary.

Post Discontinuation Support: HunterLab will provide Field Service and Technical Support for the D25 LT product for as long as service parts are available, nominally three years from discontinuation.  However, our ability to support the product into the future is limited as technologies continue to evolve and system components become increasingly difficult to procure.

Alternate Solutions: For customers currently using the D25 LT or considering or budgeting for the purchase of a D25 LT, HunterLab recommends the D25 NC System. D25 NC is a feature-rich system that will provide most of the basic capabilities of the D25 LT with many advanced features that will offer even greater value to our customers.
