What are the Open, Glass, Polycarbonate and UV Cut-off Filter port options for ColorFlex EZ? Follow
The port that comes standard with the ColorFlex is a 32 mm (1.25 in) open port (HL# 04-6623-10).
Here are some additional port options for the ColorFlex EZ or the legacy ColorFlex 45/0 LAV that customers with special sample needs may find useful:
04-6623-10 Open Port Insert, 32 mm (1.25 in)
Provides a field-replaceable, snap-in 32 mm (1.25 in) open port, shipped as standard with ColorFlex. The fixed view of the ColorFlex is a 25 mm (1.0 in) diameter within this 32 mm (1.25 in) open port.
02-6624-05 Port Insert, 32 mm (1.25 in) with Glass
Provides a field-replaceable, snap-in 32 mm (1.25 in) port with clear borosilicate glass. The glass in port is intended to protect the interior of the instrument from sample and airborne particles.
CMR-2587 Port Insert, 32 mm (1.25 in) with Polycarbonate
Provides a field-replaceable, snap-in 32 mm (1.25 in) port with clear, chemically hardened polycarbonate. The polycarbonate in port is intended to protect the interior of the instrument from sample and airborne particles. Polycarbonate is preferred in some food environments.
CMR-2591 Port Insert 32 mm (1.25 in) with 400 nm UV Cut-off Filter
Provides a field-replaceable, snap-in 32 mm (1.25 in) port with a 400-nm UV Cut-off Filter. The purpose of this filter is to prevent UV illumination from the lamp from reaching a UV-optically brightened sample providing a measurement of the UV-excluded base color of a UV-optically brightened sample.
D02-1010-618 Port Insert 32 mm (1.25 in) with 420 nm UV Cut-off Filter
Provides a field-replaceable, snap-in 32 mm (1.25 in) port with a 420-nm UV Cut-off Filter in the port. The purpose of this filter is to prevent UV illumination from the lamp from reaching a UV-optically brightened sample providing a measurement of the UV-excluded base color of a UV-optically brightened sample.
CMR-2592 Port Insert 32 mm (1.25 in) with 460nm Cut-off Filter
Provides a field-replaceable, snap-in 32 mm (1.25 in) port with a 460-nm Cut-off Filter. This is a unique filter intended to cut off energy below 450 nm for optically brightened samples that re-emit at a higher wavelength. As this filter cuts into the blue region of the visible spectrum affecting the color measurement values, typically Y Brightness or L/L* Lightness is measured on these samples.
