What do I use for top-of-scale when measuring liquids? Follow
When measuring water-based samples in cells, a blank is typically made from deionized water. This water is placed in the cell (selected for measuring samples), then placed into the instrument and used to standardize top-of-scale. When standardization is complete, remove the cell and continue with sample measurements in the same cell.
