Do I need to close the transmission compartment door when taking readings? What if I have large samples? Follow

The sample compartment door of the Vista does not need to be closed when taking measurements. There is no difference in the measurement results when the door is open or closed. Some customers prefer the door closed when taking measurements; others prefer to remove the door entirely for improved efficiency in making large numbers of readings. For large samples, the door itself is can be easily removed leaving the transmittance compartment open on 3 sides.
