Connecting MSEZ/CFEZ/D25NC to Data Collection System Follow

Several data collection systems such as WinSPC, Infinity, etc require an RS-232 Serial Communication port for connection. MSEZ/CFEZ/D2NC all have USB outputs and can not be connected directly to these systems for data collection. The solution is to use the attached USB to Serial Bridge program on a Windows OS system.

Here are the steps

• Download USB2RS232.msi and runtime.msi to a PC from  MSEZ CFEZ D25NC USB2Serial
• Install Runtime.msi in the PC
• Connect CFEZ with the PC using the USB cable .
• Run USB2RS232 in the PC. Use the Com port method or TCP/IP method to connect with the data collection system. If use TCP/IP method, skip the com port dialog prompted from USB2RS232 tool. Then configure the IP of this PC in the data collection system with port number as 22222.
