What Printers can be used with Aeros/Agera/Vista? Follow

Essentials is capable of printing to many USB and Network connected printers. Unlike a Microsoft Windows-based operating system that uses pre-loaded drivers to allow printing operations, the Essentials operating system uses printer specific apps that function in a manner similar to drivers but must be loaded into Essentials.

You can load printer drivers into Essentials through WORKSPACE > DIAGNOSTICS > ADVANCED > PRINTER DRIVERS. The current android system for Vista is 4.4.2.

NOTE: Aeros/Agera/Vista does not support printing to the ColorFlex EZ and MiniScan EZ printers. (A13-1014-259 - USB Thermal Printer). Aeros/Agera/Vista Essentials is delivered preloaded with print service plugin for the following printers:

1. Canon: The latest cannon print service plugin still supports Android 4.4 and above. If the Cannon printer support Android printing, the printer should work with Aeros/Agera/Vista. Here is the one Cannon office printer available in the market working with Aeros/Agera/Vista (Network connection), Color imageCLASS LBP632Cdw.
2. HP:  HP provides the print service plugin apk only for Android 5.0+ after May 2019. The printer model after this might only support Android 5.0+ while currently Essentials-based instruments have Android 4.4.2 system. The newer HP might only be listed in Essentials while can not print. HP M401n and M402dn were successfully tested for both USB and Ethernet connectivity.
