ColorFlex EZ to ColorFlex L2 Data Transfer Follow
The video link at the bottom of this article demonstrates the straightforward process of transferring data between HunterLab ColorFlex EZ and ColorFlex L2 spectrophotometers. The key steps involve physically connecting the two devices using a USB cable, then navigating the software menu of the ColorFlex L2 to import product setups from the ColorFlex EZ. This allows users to quickly duplicate workspace configurations, saving time and ensuring consistency between instruments. Transferring data from the ColorFlex EZ to the ColorFlex L2 is easy!
- First, ensure your instruments are plugged in and turned on.
- Next, connect them with the USB A to USB Mini communication cable that shipped with the ColorFlex EZ. We will connect the USB mini side to the rear underside of the ColorFlex EZ, then connect the USB A side to the front left port of the color flex L2.
- Finally navigate to the System Management screen. Select Instrument Settings General. Import from Previous Instrument. Select ColorFlex EZ and then click Continue.
All of our product setups from our ColorFlex EZ are now loaded. We can select all of them to import all of our 250 product setups as workspaces into our ColorFlex to or you can select a few at a time. Press continue. Confirm. And we have confirmation of success.
To view those loaded workspaces, we'll go to the workspace icon. And here are the product setups from our Colorflex EC imported into our ColorFlex L2.
