Replacement for Agera White Tile Instrument Standard - Update Dec 16, 2021 Follow

This article is the home for schedule updates on the process to replace the Agera White Tile Instrument Standard with an improved higher reflectance version. 

Agera units starting serial with number AGR00350 are shipped with a porcelain-on-steel White Instrument Standard.  And Agera units starting serial with number AGR00406 are shipped with Ultra White Macor Instrument Standard.  

For the Agera units (AGR00350 to AGR00405) with Porcelain-on-steel white tile, please contact Support@hunterlab.com for more information on how to upgrade to the improved white tile. 

December 15, 2021 Update

Replacement Agera White Tile Standard with improved higher reflectance

HunterLab has replaced the Agera porcelain on steel white reflectance tile with a new and improved Ultra White Tile that provides higher reflectance, PN #L02-1020-327. As of mid-November, all new manufactured Agera’s have shipped with this new tile assigned as the white standard. Free upgrades to the new tile are available beginning on January 1, 2022 as follows:

• All Agera instruments that shipped with the original PermaFlex white tiles are eligible for free upgrade
• All eligible porcelain on steel tiles will be replaced as needed based on the customer needs and requests. These tiles shipped with Agera instruments starting with serial number AGR00350.
• The new tiles will ship with calibration data on a thumb drive with instruction sheet.
• Orders should be sent to orders@hunterlab.com. When placing replacement orders, please include the Agera serial number.
