EZMQC Softkey License Activation Errors Follow
Occasionally when trying to activate a soft license key you might encounter the following error messages.
- L0121 error happens when a regular user tries to activate EasyMatch QC softkey
- L0223 error happens when a regular user tried to use EasyMatch QC with a key activated by admin user
Both of the above cases are caused by regular user with no standard privilege rights (e.g. modify, write) to the C:\HunterLab folder. After the users IT department adds modify/write rights to regular users, EasyMatch QC should work correctly.
- L0103 is a product mismatch.
In the case of L0103 we will need the user to verify if they have installed EasyMatch QC or EasyMatch QC-ER software. A new license key will need to be provided for the correct software package. Please use the Create a Support Request button at the top of the page to submit a ticket if you are experiencing this.

107 | LIC_ERR_DEMO_NOT_ALLOWED | Customer License is activated. Hence, Demo License key can not be activated |
108 | LIC_ERR_DEMO_NOT_EXPIRED | A Demo License is already activated.\r\n You can install new Demo License key after expiry of the existing License. |
109 | LIC_ERR_ACTKEY_EXPIRED | The (type) License key has expired |
110 | LIC_ERR_INVALID_DATE | License Expired |
121 | LIC_ERR_OPEN_LOCAL_FILE | Unable to open Local License File |
122 | LIC_ERR_READ_LOCAL_FILE | Unable to read Local License data |
123 | LIC_ERR_WRITE_LOCAL_FILE | Unable to Write Local License data |
221 | LIC_ERR_WNDSVC_ACK_OPER_FAILED | "HLsksvc.exe" service failed to Acknowledge the Application Request |
222 | LIC_ERR_WNDSVC_ACK_PIPE_CLOSED | Named pipe closed - Communication Failed between Application and Service |
223 | LIC_ERR_WNDSVC_ACK_SYNC_FAILED | Sync failed - Local File to Secret File Synchronization failed in the Service |
