Vista has available a number of new cell holder bases and cell holders designed to simplify and improve measurement productivity and results. These new sample handling devices were developed using a modular approach for ease of use, consistency and accuracy.

1. NEW! Spring-Loaded Film and Cell Holder Base Plate (D02-1017-192)

This spring-loaded sample holder is designed to measure transmittance haze compliant with ASTM D 1003 (procedure B) and other transmission measurements by placing the sample directly against the sphere. To ensure precision, accuracy and consistency of sample placement for films, plastics and liquids, the following cell holders are additionally offered:

  • This cell holder is precisely designed to hold macro analytical cells for repeatable Total Transmittance Measurements. Accommodates glass, plastic and quartz macro analytical cells.

• NEW! Plastic Semi-Micro Cell Holder (D02-1017-390)
  • This cell holder positions semi-micro analytical plastic cells for repeatable Total Transmittance Measurements. Accommodates semi-micro 10mm plastic cells with outside path length dimension not exceeding 12.42 (pathlength) x 12.50mm (0.489 x 0.492 inches)

• NEW! Plastic Ultra-Micro Cell Holder (D02-1017-391)
  • This cell holder positions ultra-micro analytical plastic cells for repeatable Total Transmittance Measurements. Accommodates ultra-micro 10mm plastic cells with outside path length dimension not exceeding 12.50 (pathlength) x 12.50mm (0.492 x 0.492 inches)

• NEW! Preform Holder for Spring-Loaded Base (L02-1017-471)
  • This cell holder accurately positions preforms either vertically or horizontally for measurement of color. It is not intended for Haze measurement.

 

2. NEW! Self-centering Large Cell Holder Base Plate (D02-1017-193)

This self-centering cell holder takes the guess work out of cell placement for total and regular transmittance, ensuring precision and accuracy every time. Compatible with precision cell holders, and cell holders up to 50 mm:

3. NEW! Universal Adapter Base Plate (D04-1017-223)

This universal adapter base plate with (2) threaded accessory mounting bolts is designed to accommodate third-party sample holders. Measuring 5-in x 3.75-in (127mm x 95.25mm), this base plate has twenty individual 0.25-in (6.35mm) universal threaded holes that are spaced in a 1-in x 1=in (25.4mm x 25.4mm) grid pattern to ensure accuracy and consistency of customer samples.

4. NEW! Precision Cell Holder Base Plate (D02-1017-224)

This precision cell holder base plate is designed to hold precision cells for very accurate color measurement of liquid samples. It is NOT intended to measure Haze. It is designed to work with the following Precision Cell Holders:

5. NEW! Diagnostic / Check Filters

Three new diagnostic/check filters are available for the Vista. These filter assemblies are easy to use, with self-centering magnetic mounts that attach the assembly to the sphere side of the sample compartment, ensuring proper positioning and alignment mounts that make diagnostics and performance verification a breeze.

 

1. NEW! Didymium Diagnostic Filter Holder (D04-1017-167)

Replacement diagnostic is used for wavelength verification of the instrument over time. Didymium filter comes in a convenient holder that magnetically mounts to the sphere side of the sample compartment.

 

2. NEW! Neutral Density Check Filter Holder (D02-1017-419)

This diagnostic is used for photometric performance verification of the instrument over time. The neutral density filter comes in a convenient holder that magnetically mounts to the sphere side of the sample compartment.

 

3. NEW! Haze Check Standard Assembly (D02-1017-410)

This diagnostic standard is used for verification of Haze measurements over time. The Haze standard comes in a convenient holder that magnetically mounts to the sphere side of the sample compartment.
