This CMR fixture allows color measurement of the coated surface of a transparent solid while negating any transmitted signal from the measurement. This light trap fixture fits on a standard ColorQuest XE/UltraScan PRO sample clamp at the reflectance port.
In the Reflectance Specular-Included (RSIN) mode, the reflected specular signal from the first-surface coatings on the sample will be measured by the sphere while light passing through the transparent solid will be captured by the light trap and negated from the measurement. Includes a footswitch (part number D02-1010-327) to trigger measurement allowing better manual handling of bulky samples.
