This CMR provides a special port plate for the color measurement of large hair tresses with a 13-mm (0.5-in) round opening (no glass) and guides on either side - 13-mm (0.5-in) apart.

The ColorQuest XE and UltraScan VIS instruments view a 6-mm sample area in Small Area of View (SAV) mode. The UltraScan PRO views a 9-mm sample area in Medium Area of View (MAV) mode. A standard 13-mm (0.5-mm) port is used for standardization. Then this CMR-2938 port replaces it for large hair tress measurement. Also included is a sample clamp weight to keep the hair tress flush at the port.
