CMR-3128 provides special firmware for the ColorFlex EZ that requires entry of a password before product setups may be modified or the setups may be reset or recalled. CMR-3128 must be installed at factory.
As a standard feature to prevent operators from accidentally changing settings, the job setups can be locked under MAIN MENU > GLOBAL OPTIONS. This modification adds an extra level of security by requiring password entry to make any setup changes.
The default password for this CMR as shipped is "HUNTERLAB" (all caps).
If a user has changed the CMR password from default, and has forgotten what they changed it to, the "backdoor" password is HUNTERLAB spelled backwards in numeric telephone keypad format "225738684".
Once the user has unlocked this CMR, go back and re-set the password to a new one using "225738684" when prompted to enter the old password.
