This article provides a Color Calculator Library that works in tandem with a Hunter Lab Active/OCX sensor communications protocol (sensor specific) to allow a customer with modest programming skills to create a custom program of their own for collecting and reporting color data.
Their custom program would make calls to the Color Calculator for standard color and single metrics and the ActiveX/OCX program for spectral data for use with any Hunter Lab sensor. A supplied HTML-based help file describes the color metric calls. Also, supplies are code samples in Visual Basic and Excel that illustrate how to communicate with the Color Calculator + ActiveX/OCX sensor interface to standardize, make measurements and receive data. Must be used in combination with one or more of the following sensor-specific ActiveX/OCX programs (purchased separately):
