This Neutral Density filter nominally transmits 90% light over the range of 400nm to 700nm relative to a 100% standardization in Regular Transmittance (RTRAN).
To use first create a mode selecting RTRAN and the desired UV Filter position, then standardize the instrument. This filter is not in place during the standardization process.
To set the Bottom-of-Scale, use a black card to block the lens in the transmittance compartment. To set the Top-of-Scale, ensure the transmittance compartment is empty and that the Instrument Standard is at the reflectance port.
After successful standardization screws the filter tube into the threads at the lens.
