This Neutral Density filter nominally transmits 50% light over the range of 400nm to 700nm relative to a 100% standardization in Regular Transmittance (RTRAN).
To use first create a mode selecting RTRAN and the desired UV Filter position, then standardize the instrument. This filter is not in place during the standardization process.
To set the Bottom-of-Scale to use a black card to block the lens in the transmittance compartment. To set the Top-of-Scale to ensure the transmittance compartment is empty and that the Instrument Standard is at the reflectance port.
After successful standardization screw the filter tube into the threads at the lens.
