FAQ: Do I need the Ring and Disk Set to Measure Tomato Products?

Answer:
The ColorFlex EZ Tomato does not come with a ring and disk set. If you pour the typical processed tomato products such as paste/puree, sauce, catsup or juice, into the cup and fill to at least the 25mm line on the sample cup, the process tomato product is effectively opaque.
If they have other more translucent products with lower solids content like pineapple juice, then a black ring and white disk set would be appropriate to make the sample effectively opaque. This will need to be purchased separately.
