FAQ: Does the speed of measurement affect the color measurement?

Answer:
There should be little difference in measuring a moving or stationary sample if it is uniform in color. Here is a video showing both moving and fixed measurements on a coil coat sample. IF customer is seeing a difference, then perhaps it is due to flutter (movement up and down) or variations in the coating. In this video you can see a 0.06 difference when stopped, but this is due to no averaging and spot may be different than average. See this video.
