FAQ: In EasyMatch QC software, is there a way to run transmittance and collect the raw data for each wavelength in the absorbance scale rather than %T?
Answer:
This is for dye in solution in the 10mm cuvette. We can always convert in a spreadsheet, but it would be much better to have the raw data export in Absorbance.
As shown in the screen capture, put your mouse over the view area, then Right Click > CONFIGURE > SPLIT HORIZONTALLY and add a SPECTRAL DATA TABLE (can also do Spectral Plot).
It will default to display in Reflectance/Transmittance.
- If you are standardized in a reflectance mode, the Spectral Data view will display in % Reflectance.
- If you are standardized in a transmittance mode, the Spectral Data view will display in % Transmittance.
If you are standardized in a transmittance mode, put your mouse over the view area of the Spectral Data Table, then Right Click and select ABSORBANCE (A)/OPTICAL DENSITY as the spectral data type.
You can cut-and-paste the absorbance data to Excel just like any other data view, or if you are using our OPTIONS > ASCII EXPORT feature, just select ABSORBANCE (A)/OPTICAL DENSITY as the spectral data type.
