FAQ: In EasyMatch QC-ER, do we restrict a user's ability to standardize an instrument without elevated rights?
Answer:
The only people who can standardize the instrument are those included in the QCERAdmins and QCERUsers Groups who have privilege to be able to login to EasyMatch QC-ER.
Everyone in the two groups is assumed to be a Standard User (no System Admin rights) as far as network or local PC status is concerned.
EasyMatch QC-ER encourages standardization of the sensor mode on a regular basis as this is a core feature in maintaining valid color measurements. QCERAdmins and QCERUsers cannot go forward to make measurements if the time is beyond the SENSOR > STANDARDIZATION INTERVAL (8 hours default but can be set tighter).
