Purpose: Multi-languages feature is added into Vista Essentials Rev 1.05.0064 and above.
Vista Essentials can display data in English, Chinese and Japanese. The language setting is at JOBS menu > PREFERENCES.
Config Keyboard button can be used to choose the default keyboard input method from all the installed ones. The Android keyboard does not support Chinese and Japanese so a preferred keyboard input method apk can be installed for typing in these languages.
Here are the steps to install the other keyboard input methods,
1. Download and save the apk file into a thumb drive.
2. Use the Printer Driver feature in Essentials WORKSPACE menu > DIAGNOSTICS > ADVANCED DIAGNOSTICS to install these apk files.
3. After installation, this input methods will be shown in the input method list when you open CONFIGURE KEYBOARD in JOBS menu > PREFERENCES > LANGUAGE SETTINGS.
