Note: EZMQC is not recommended for ColorFlex L2. CFL2 operates effectively as a standalone device with Essentials2. Enhanced features in Essentials2 aim to eliminate the need for EZMQC. Additionally, Essentials Desktop software for PC will soon be available for ColorFlex L2.

 
Accessories Needed: USB Type-A to USB Type-B Cable (commonly called a printer cable)

1. Connect the Cable:

• Plug the flat USB end into a USB port on your PC.
• Plug the square USB end into the service port of the CFL2.

2. Set Up EZMQC:

• Open the EZMQC software on your PC.
• Navigate to Sensors > Install/Configure.
• Click Add Sensor.
• In the Sensor Type dropdown list, select ColorFlex L2.
• Choose the correct communication port from the list, then click Next.
  • Note: If you’re unsure which port corresponds ColorFlex L2, select one and click Next. If it doesn’t work, try another port until successful.

3. Verify Connection:

• Once connected, the ColorFlex L2 will be ready for standardization. Restart EZMQC after the sensor is added. 

 
Note: EZMQC cannot communicate with the Essentials L2 software on the CFL2 or utilize its camera feature.
